Appearance: Extremely well rolled & styled teas, carefully sorted grade with negligible stalk/fibre present. The dry leaf shows good rolling and sifting standards. The grade has excellent density.
Infusion: Bright with no signs of fermented leaf or damaged leaf showing good de-enzyming
Liquors: Yellowish-green with no trace of pinkness to indicate any fermentation in manufacture. Liquors are bright and have some strength and astringency with reasonable sweetness. There’s no hint of harshness, coarseness or smoke.

Chunmee

Appearance: Delicately rolled and well sifted grade, extremely attractive in appearance. The dry leaf has negligible stalk and is well sifted and cleaned for such a delicate whole leaf grade. Dry leaf indicates good rolling standards. The grade has reasonable density for a whole leaf grade
Infusion: Bright with no signs of fermented leaf or damaged leaf being used in manufacture. Infusions show good de-enzyming having been undertaken
Liquors: Pale yellow green shows a good standard of manufacture. Liquors have little strength and very negligible astringency with reasonable sweetness. There’s no hint of harshness, coarseness or smoke.

Fanning's

Appearance: Dry leaf is adequate and satisfactory for this grade with some flat-open leaf but is reasonably clean in make. Density of grade is good for tea bagging.
Infusion: Bright infusions with negligible fermented/damaged leaf that indicate a good standard of de-enzyming.
Liquors: Pale yellow green shows a good standard of manufacture overall. Liquors have good strength and some astringency. overall is well rounded in a cup. Liquors have no hint of harshness, coarseness or smoke. .
